How much does a tattoo cost at Mr Ink Bali?
Every tattoo is custom, so we quote each piece individually. DM us on Instagram with your idea, size and placement for a free quote (or WhatsApp if you prefer).
Is Mr Ink Bali connected to Mr Ink in Australia?
Yes. Mr Ink Bali is the sister studio of Mr Ink Tattoo Lounge on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, and is fully backed by it. Mr Ink has been around since 2014, starting in Queensland, and our Seminyak studio runs exactly the same way, with the same standards across the board.
Is my tattoo guaranteed?
Yes. Mr Ink Bali guarantees all its work in Bali, and touch-ups are free. If you've gone home to Australia, Mr Ink Tattoo Lounge on the Sunshine Coast honours the guarantee there too, touch-ups included.
Do you do custom designs?
Yes, every design is 100% custom. It's drawn in the studio together with you and the team, so you're guaranteed happy with it before we start. We never use someone else's work and we never recycle tattoo designs.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome for small tattoos. For larger pieces, please DM us on Instagram first (or WhatsApp if you prefer) so we can quote and book you in with the right artist.
Where is your tattoo studio in Seminyak?
We're at Jl. Drupadi No.6, Seminyak, Bali. It's close to Petitenget, Legian and Kuta, and an easy trip in from Canggu.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday 10am–10pm, and Sunday 10am–5pm.
What tattoo styles do your artists do?
Our award-winning artists each specialise in their own style, including realism, black and grey, colour, Japanese, mandala and dotwork, neo-traditional and traditional, and cover-ups.
Is the studio hygienic?
Yes. All needles are single use, equipment is sterile, stations are cleaned and wrapped between clients, and everything follows Australian standards, the same as our Sunshine Coast studio.
What is the Bali Tattoo IV Drip?
Mr Ink Bali is the creator of the Bali Tattoo IV Drip. It's part of the tattoo experience for big sessions at our studio, designed to keep you feeling refreshed and your body feeling good while you're in the chair. It's administered by a qualified doctor from a local doctors' practice, who comes out to our studio. DM us on Instagram (or WhatsApp) to ask about adding it to your session.
Are your artists award-winning?
Yes. Our artists are award-winning, and each specialises in their own style. Mr Ink Bali is rated 5.0 from 170+ Google reviews.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, cover-ups are one of our specialties. DM us a photo of the existing tattoo on Instagram (or WhatsApp) and we'll let you know what's possible.
Do you offer tattoos under general anaesthesia?
Yes. We offer tattooing under general anaesthesia (a sleep tattoo), done in a real hospital environment in Bali by Mr Ink's own artists, with a full team of doctors and nurses. Can I swim after getting a tattoo in Bali?
Hold off on swimming in pools and the ocean until your tattoo has healed, and keep it out of the sun. Your artist will give you full aftercare instructions. Many travellers book their tattoo towards the end of their trip.
How do I book?
Small tattoos can walk in. For anything bigger, booking is simple. 1) Send us your design idea and size: DM us on Instagram at @mrinkbali (our preferred way to book) or WhatsApp us on +62 812-8225-1400. 2) We come back with your quote. 3) A 25% deposit confirms your booking and holds your spot; with only six beds, spots are limited. 4) Once you arrive in Bali, you sit down with our team in the studio to design your tattoo. 5) Every tattoo is 100% custom, designed with you until you're completely happy, never recycled and never someone else's work.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking and hold your spot. We cap the studio at six beds, so spots are limited and fill up. DM us on Instagram (or WhatsApp) with your idea and we'll send your quote and deposit details.
